F.A.Q.
1. Is this puppy available?  Puppies are all available unless there is a posted sign
saying "Pending, or sold" right by the puppys photo. Pending means: the sale of this puppy is pending per the process of paperwork, and deposit being mailed. Also, a post of "Sold" means that the we received paperwork and deposit for that puppy and therefore puppy is sold @ this point.

2. How do I buy a puppy?  Call Me asap. We operate on a 'first come, first serve" basis. So, one can miss out on their puppy by the minutes. Upon your call, we can discuss the "pet screening questions" takes 5 min or so, but it can be emailed too. Next, fun paperwork (sales contract, $150. deposit, or $50. deposit to Reserve a future puppy, vet report...)  When received, we contact you to let you know its here, and confirm the puppys scheduled pick up time.

3. Can you send me more pictures? Yes, but not on a weekly basis. We take the puppies pic's @ 8-9 wks. of age. If your local, after pet screening, your welcome to come for a "Greet n Meet" Appt.

4. Shipping As of 2022  Airlines do not ship puppies anymore in Cargo. Puppies can fly
Coach with a person. Many are using Professional Mobil Mini Vans as  'pet curriers' now.
Most arrange a road trip and arrive at our house. Or, we can meet you at our airport with your puppy in tow.

5. Are the Puppies Home Raised?  Some have been born in the home w/ us or in our  Nursery Designed for Whelping puppies. Pics on the "About Nursery" page.  Puppies are touched, talked too, played with, enjoy their yummy foods including moist & dry kibble at approx. 6 wks. of age. Note: We work along with Our own Breeders who are part of our Breeding Program. We all agree on the rules of our breeding, med protocol, vet check ups, Whelping, Socializing, and Health Care...

6. What determines price?
  • First pick of litter is always the highest. As this is the best in litter. Unless their all uniform.
  • Our Time is Precious. We shutter to think of how many hrs. we spend in caring for Sires/dams/puppies from birth. 24/7.  Rain or shine. Despite special gatherings,  weddings, funerals, vacations....
  • Advertising
  • No Appt. USDA Federal & DATCP State -  Licenses and Inspections. Including Oconto County License. All have price increases in 2022.
  • Supplies & Material Costs for Safe-Stress Friendly Facility (Hold onto your hat!) Custom Nursery Built- attached to our Home. Include's: Office, High Quality Surveillance System, Infloor Heating, Full Kitchen, microwave, washer, dryer, Cabinets, T.V....Add: Grooming Stations (2 pro pet dryers, all grooming equipment: pro clippers, shears (very very nice pro shears), shampoos/conditioners, approx 8 uniforms (i girl has to look nice), stress mats, pro bath system...Don't forget the Vet bills for any spay, neuter, c section, rabies, requested testing (for Breeding Program) and teeth cleaning..(which can and has- run the risk of losing the dog and needing to replace her/him). We removed the A/C.It really doesn't get that hot in there.
  • We pay for Vet Inspections here. Our Vet is an hour away.
  • Chew toys, collars, Blankets....Puppy dog foods, human grade fresh meats, butcher bones, some fruits/vegetable's, dairy products and costly vitamins/herbs/probiotics. One homemade premium ALL Organic Gruel..and-Outside Playground.
  • Kennel Help and Babysitters when needed.
  • Any unique rare exotic colors can affect the price.
  • Any teacups, pocket, minnie puppys due to the extra consisderable time & expense we put into raising them. Most have no idea what its like to deal with vaccine side effects, regulated heat, fresh menu....
  • Gender of puppy. Females can be more. There are less of them. And, are more Popular.
  • Developed Quality Breeding Program.  It comes at a Cost. We Research, Travel, Inspect  new bloodlines. The outcome is never certain. But, when we do find our Diamond, "It's not time to haggle about price at this point. We pay Reputable Breeders whatever they ask. We know what they have. They know what they have. And, it's worth every penny. Even then, mother nature has the final word. Champion lines doesn't guarantee all will go well. It's no ones fault. It's just time to try again.

7.  Are Price's Negotiable? No But we do offer discounts for Handi-cap,
        special needs.

8Are the local backyard breeders just as good? No! The cheaper priced puppies run more risk of Health and Temperament problems soon after recieving the puppy and later down the road.
Backyard Breeders, Operate Without a code of Ethics. And, are willing to
breed despite obvious problems with the bloodline. You will not be able
to know this. Some are not as honest and just want to sell you a puppy.
Most do not have a "Proven Breeding Program". The neighbors stud will do.
Most do not claim their sales on their taxes.
Most use the Cheapest vacc/dewormers-which can be a problem later on.
Most offer little to no  "Health Guarantees". No Vet Check and never a "Temperament Guarantee".

True Experience. An ill tempered bitch was bred- Prospective buyer went to check out the litter. While at the sellers home, the dog jumped up and bit the Prospective Buyer twice on the hand leaving her with a bleeding scratched hand. The Owner - remarked, "Oh -it's just a nibble she does that to people from time to time."  What!?
The dog was nervous, high energy, overly vocal, and didn't like strangers.  So, should this dog be bred?  Enter Problem - The Yorkie just got a Bad Reputation. You may have heard some say, 'those yorkies are Little barky ankle biters! Then the whole Breeding is repeated, how many times?
Questions to ask: Is the cheaper puppy worth the risk?
Will this be a safe companion for you and or your family?

9. Is there any difference between male vs. female?  Yes. But sometimes not. We have found over several years time, and after asking two vets, a few dog trainers, alot of our customers over the years, the far majority prefer the nuetered male as opposed to the spayed female, hands down. Yes, the boys have it here!  One noticable reason for this is that the fixed male "matures gracefully". That male is a "happy camper"  well into his senior yrs. Whereas  the fixed female, CAN Possibly age with more difficulty in jealousy, clingy, and less tolerance for children.... Not all females age the same. There are differet levels. Same with males but, the majority of males are real sweet at 15 yrs of age. This is why we place many males in handicapped and nursing homes for 'therapy dogs'.

10. How many breeds do we have?  4 - Teddy Bears (bichon/shihtzu) & (Maltese/ShihTzu) Purebred Maltese, Morkies (Yorkie/Maltese) and Maltipoos
Maltese/Poodle.

11. What age can Puppy go into new home?  8 wks.and older. But, the Tcups need to stay longer. Pending on where the puppy is going. Does the new home have a Tcup experience? Is the Teacup going into a quiet stress friendly home? They are on a 12wks or more age when they can go.

12. Are Puppies Vacc/Dewormed?  Yes

13. Why are some puppies here so long? What's wrong with them? They are not hurt, injured, infected, deformed or otherwise. Here-many puppies do not leave without being matched up to the best forever home possible. This is determined via "Pet Screening Process" Their welcome to stay as long as it takes. We do need to turn away some potential buyers.

14. How often do you breed the Mother? That depends on Mom. Mostly 5 yrs.of age, if all goes well.  However, if some moms are not good moms, difficult, and neglect their puppies,- the decision is made to not breed her.
Please, note. Letting a mom skip a heat cycle and then breed on her next one, isn't always best. Some say, allow her body to rest. According to Vet, in doing that, her body is getting out of the breeding mode. When she's skips a heat cycle, and bred on her next one, it's like having a litter for the 1st. time. Which can be harder on her body.
Also, it depends on moms heat cycle pattern. Some moms have a 1x year heat cycle. Some l more and some less per year. It's best to listen to what the moms body is showing you.

15. What type of dog food do we feed? Normally 'Diamond Puppy'. But, most puppies start out on a homemade premium organic gruel of fresh meats / egg /potatoe's/ beets...then to a hard kibble. In addition to that - we do alot of "Nuvet" powder Vitamins (it's the Best) fresh ground human grade turkey, beef, or chicken, liver, eggs, vegetables, cheese, romaine salad's, chicken soup, carrots/apples, baby rice cereal, some veggies...

16.  Do you have references? Yes, please refer to "Testimonials"page.

17. What Guarantees do you offer?    10 Year Health and 1 Year Temperament Guarantee.

18Do you sell your puppies on a spay / neuter contract?  Yes, always.

19. Will you take a puppy back?  Sorry but No. Not anymore. In 2022 it's just not Safe. There are more new Virus's affecting puppy dogs. And there's no vaccine for each virus.
Also, we've seen how puppy dogs can go bad when not Trained. They develop bad behaviors that i cannot undo, given my schedule. This can cause serious problems. Also, we don't know what puppy experience while not here.

20. Is adopting a "Rescue" puppy dog safe? It's a huge gamble. In terms of health, and temperament. They can have hidden health and temperament issues. One party rescued a dog that needed Vet attention by the end of the  week. Vet Bill was well over a thousand. It has to be paid. And, there's nothing anyone can do to help.
I use to work @ the Milwaukee Humane Society years ago. There is a real need to "Rescue" a dog from death. Back then at least 20 dogs a day were put down. So, if one can Risk the health, temperament, and possible big expense - go for it!

21.What Form of Payment do you accept?  A Deposit to Reserve 50. a Future Puppy, And,  Deposit to hold a puppy ready for purchase 150. are both made by bank/personal check.
At time of Puppy Pick Up, the Balance always need to be in Cash Only.
Note: We always liked to believe that a person is as good as their word. Were we ever that naïve?  Case in point: chicago guy never paid us for his puppy! Check bounced. Then
excuse after excuse...which we believed at first. Still no payment.   Today, he's found on facebook with pic's of him with his Stunning Beautiful Unpaid for Morkie puppy.
Another experience: A married couple (both lawyers) bounced their check on a "Pair of his & hers Puppies". We had several months of no payment. Finally, upon leaning towards legal action they paid in full.
Now that we're on the subject: we had a Policeman, Devout Religious persons, Business Owners, and other Professionals who never finished paying for their puppy.
Note: No Credit card box here. We do not have alot of puppies to warrant one.

22. Does the offspring look like the Parents? Each puppy has alittle of Mom and Dad in their features. But none look exactly like either parents 100%

23. Does Weight/Size Matter? Yes! Very much so. Teacup-Toy-Small Sizes all have advantages and disadvantages. Teacups are great for apartments and travel. And, can literally be a 24/7 companion. The Teacup, Toy and Small Size dog breeds, bred here are specifically for 3 -10 lbs.  Seniors and Families need a pet that can be controlled on a leash and have kids participate in care. Outdoor camping to apartment living is easier. And, they're more economical with costly feeding and grooming. More importantly, some of our customers have special needs. Physically, Emotionally, and Mentally. Many benefit from having a small dog to help them in a 'Therapy Service' way. Exercise, fetch items, watch dog, entertaining, and constant positive company is essential. Others, dealing with a high stressfull life, PTS, Depression, trauma...all can benefit greatly from the Teacup, Toy, and Small Size Dog Breeds.

24. Are the Puppies Socialized?  Not as much as we'd like. We don't live in the nursery 24/7. (although somedays I've come close). We spend time with the puppies daily during routine care of cleaning, vacc/dewormers, grooming baths, playing with toys, touching/holding in swandle blanket...if nice outside the puppies can go out to meet the sun.
But, the biggest help is the Grandkids!  Puppy time is a given when they come. They know the puppies names, and ask "how 's so and so doing?" We do:  Playing, brushing, feeding.
We also have the T.V. on most of the day and sometimes at night. so they can adjust to human voice's, and adjust to music.
To date none of our puppies have issues with not being socialized enough. Most of the time,
Nursery puppy dogs are brought in the main house, one at a time on a rotation basis. Supervised in front room, kitchen...lower level area is set up for them.
